Inactivated Parapox ovis virus
Indication
For the prevention and treatment of infectious and / or stress -induced diseases, by stimulating the inmune response in dogs, cats, horses, cattle and pigs. In cattle and horses it is indicated for respiratory herpes virus infections, reducing clinical symptoms and virus excretion. In the cat, it has been shown a reduction of clinical symptoms during calicivirus respiratory virus infection. A reduction of clinical symptoms was detected in dogs, cattle and horse during crowding associated infectious respiratory disease: in pigs suffering from respiratory diseases and in crowding -associated enteric disease ( PWDS ). The stimulation of non-specific immune mechanisms begins rapidly within a few hours to 2 days. The duration of action is about 10 to 14 days after the last injection .
Dosage and administration
- The dose for dogs and cats is 1 ml of the resuspended product, regardless of the age and weight of the animal. Subcutaneous injection
- The dose for horses, cattle and pigs is 2 ml of the resuspended product, regardless of the age and weight of the animal. Intramuscular injection.
Precautions of storage
Store at 2° - 8° C. Do not freeze. Use entire contents when first opened.
Sterilized syringes and needles should be used to administer this immunomodulator.
Packaging
5 x 1 dose vials of immunomodulator. Rehydrate to 2 mL.
5 x 2 mL vials of sterile diluent.
