Are you the new Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator for Grovet Ltd?

Do you enjoy helping customers, keeping operations running smoothly, and working in a hands-on role where no two days are the same? Are you organised, flexible, and committed to delivering excellent service? Then this is your opportunity to join Grovet, one of Europe's fastest-growing equine health companies.

As our Customer Service & Logistics Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting our UK operations. From processing customer orders and answering enquiries to managing stock, preparing shipments, and supporting warehouse activities, you'll help ensure our customers receive the right products at the right time. You'll work closely with our Operations Manager and colleagues to maintain efficient, accurate, and compliant processes.

About Grovet

At Grovet, everything revolves around one mission: Value through focus on equine health.

For almost 30 years, we have been dedicated exclusively to equine veterinarians. What started as a wholesaler has evolved into an international sales organization with the ambition to become Europe's leading equine veterinary supplier.

Our portfolio includes medicines, veterinary supplies, instruments, supplements, nutrition, and exclusive distribution brands. Together with veterinarians, researchers, and industry partners, we continuously develop solutions that help improve equine healthcare.

As our UK operations continue to grow, we're looking for a proactive and reliable colleague who enjoys working across different areas of the business and wants to contribute to our shared success.

Working at Grovet

You'll be based at our facility in Wymeswold, UK, working closely with the Operations Manager and the wider team.

This is a hands-on role in a growing business, combining customer service, order processing, warehouse operations, logistics, and administration. You'll need to be comfortable switching between desk-based tasks and practical warehouse duties as priorities change throughout the day.

What you bring

We're looking for someone who combines:

Experience in customer service, warehousing, logistics, order processing, or a similar operational role

Strong written and verbal communication skills and a professional approach to customer service

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures consistently

A practical, flexible, and hands-on attitude

The ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and respond to changing workloads

Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, with the ability to learn new systems

A commitment to quality, health and safety, accurate record-keeping, and Good Distribution Practice (GDP)

Experience in pharmaceutical, veterinary, healthcare, or another regulated distribution environment would be an advantage. Knowledge of GDP, stock control, FIFO/FEFO stock rotation, courier bookings, or temperature-controlled distribution is also desirable.

What we offer

Joining Grovet means becoming part of a growing international business where teamwork, flexibility, and a shared commitment to equine health are valued.

We offer:

A full-time, permanent position (40 hours)

A hands-on role with variety and responsibility

The opportunity to work closely with the Operations Manager and contribute to the continued development of our UK operations

A collaborative working environment in a growing international company

The opportunity to develop your skills and experience in veterinary product distribution and regulated operations

Your role

You'll help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our UK operations, providing responsive customer service while supporting accurate stock management, efficient order fulfilment, and compliant distribution processes.

You will:

Support our customers: Handle enquiries by telephone, email, and online channels, process orders accurately, keep customers informed, and help resolve customer concerns professionally.

Coordinate logistics and despatch: Pick, check, pack, and label orders, arrange courier collections, and help ensure shipments are prepared accurately and on time.

Manage incoming goods and stock: Receive deliveries, check products, record stock movements, replenish picking locations, and maintain accurate inventory records.

Support stock control and purchasing: Monitor stock levels, investigate discrepancies, track expiry dates, and assist with purchasing administration.

Maintain quality and compliance: Follow company procedures and GDP guidelines for product handling, storage, documentation, and distribution. Complete routine temperature checks and promptly escalate discrepancies or quality concerns.

Support administration and continuous improvement: Maintain operational records, process relevant paperwork, assist with audits, and help improve systems and processes.

You'll work across customer service, warehouse, logistics, and administration, supporting colleagues wherever needed to keep operations running efficiently.

Why Grovet?

At Grovet, you'll have the opportunity to make a real contribution to a growing international business. We value colleagues who take ownership, support one another, and approach their work with care and attention to detail.

If you're looking for a varied, hands-on role where you can develop your skills, support equine veterinary professionals, and help build our growing UK operation, we'd love to hear from you.
