Hp Resistance has been developed for horses with a compromised immune system. This often manifests itself as vague health issues leading to suboptimal performance. The specific composition of HP Resistance supports and stimulates the immune system.

Immunity
A well-functioning immune system is essential for good health. A horse’s immune system can be weakened or be working sub-optimally due to stress, illness, poor diet, problems with the microbiota, and (epi-) genetic errors. HP Resistance has been specially formulated for horses with a (temporarily) compromised immune system.
Essential fatty acids, beta-glucans and other specific nutrients can provide support to the immune system and can positively influence the regulation thereof. The microbiota is also an indispensable factor when it comes to a healthy immune system.
The best diet for an optimal immune system consists of good roughage, HP Colon, and HP Resistance.
CAUTION: Mix HP Resistance into the feed in very small quantities first. Horses need to get used to the taste of omega-3 fatty acids. Then gradually build up to the desired dosage.
Specific ingredients and formula
HP Resistance contains specific ingredients that have an effect on the immune system. It contains essential fatty acids in the form of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), a long chain omega-3 fatty acid that is present in algae, and that is also a precursor of anti-inflammatory factors. Another component of HP Resistance is MacroGard, a natural beta-1,3/1,6-glucan present in the cell wall of yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). Beta-1,3/1,6-glucans are recognised by the body as natural triggers that activate the immune system. Trace elements such as zinc, vitamin E, selenium, vitamin C, copper and manganese also have functions that contribute to a healthy immune system.
