Cronyxin Paste is indicated for the treatment of acute inflammatory musculoskeletal disorders in horses. It is the drug of choice when a powerful analgesic is required, for example in the case of colic, postoperative trauma, or lameness. Flunixin is an effective and safe treatment option for horses.
Flunixin is a non-steroidal, non-narcotic analgesic with anti-inflammatory, anti-endotoxic and anti-pyretic activities. Cronyxin paste has an apple flavour and is administered using a flexible dose syringe. Each multi-dose oral syringe contains 33g and is contains enough flunixin to treat up to 1500 kg. This allows easy administration to horses weighing more than 600kg.
The daily dosage is 1.1 mg/kg bodyweight.
Withdrawal period: 15 days for meat and offal.
