Insulin Test 15 Pack

The VMRD Equine Insulin Test is a point-of-care lateral flow assay for the quantitative measurement of insulin concentrations in whole blood.  

VMRD Equine Insulin helps to diagnose and manage equine insulin dysregulation, and determine the risk of hyperinsulinemia-associated laminitis. Point-of-care insulin testing provides immediate information that can help guide management decisions and allow more frequent and timely evaluation as management changes are instituted, increasing client compliance and clinical confidence. 

The VMRD reader provides a numerical value for insulin up to 200 µIU/mL. It uses lot‑specific calibration to the radioimmunoassay (RIA) of the Cornell Animal Diagnostic Center for consistent accuracy.
