For adjunctive intra-articular treatment of joint disorders associated with noninfectious synovitis.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural constituent of mammalian connective tissue, its chemical composition is the same in all mammalian species. Hyaluronic acid is also present in the matrix of articular cartilage.
In addition to its physical and rheological properties, hyaluronic acid has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, lubricating and antioxidant effects. It is an effective catcher of free radicals, a potent inhibitor of migration and aggregation of leukocytes and macrophages, and promotes healing of connective tissue.
Intra-articular administration of sodium hyaluronate relieves aseptic joint inflammation and improves joint lubrication.
Instructions for use
Single intra-articular injection: administer 2,5 ml intra-articular in medium to large-sized joints. It is possible to treat multiple joints at the same time. After administration a sterile salve and a clean bandage (fitting for the joint) should be applied.
If necessary, repetition of the treatment could be considered after 2-3 weeks.
