Desinfectant wipe for the MetriCult sampling kit for collection, storage and transport of uterus samples.
MetriCult is a sampling kit for the collection, storage and transport of a sample from the uterus of mares and cows. It is intended for the microbiological examination of endometritis. MetriCult is a Czech product developed by a veterinarian from the Dvůr Králové ZOO – dr. Krejčí. Thanks to its unique design, it has obtained a patent. When using MetriCult you can be sure that the sample taken comes from the endometrium only and is not contaminated with saprophytic microflora. MetriCult has a wide range of usage not only with mares but with cows and zoo animals as well.
The MetriCult kit contains a catheter with a mandrel and a swab rod (sterile – sterilized with ethylene oxide), a bag with a disinfectant wipe, a transport medium in a test tube. For single use only.
The expiration of the swab is 3 years from the date of manufacture. Sterilized by ethylene oxide.
