HP Colon has been specially developed for horses who experience gas colic, poorly digested faeces and free fecal water syndrome.

A healthy gut microbiota is essential for the horse’s health. The rich variety of fibres present in HP Colon stimulates the horse’s gut microbiota. The addition of live yeast (Yeasacc®) helps to prevent the acidification of the intestinal contents. Acidification of the gut is harmful to the beneficial bacteria residing there. The low starch and sugar content, in addition to the treatment undergone by the starch sources ensure efficient digestion in the small intestine, so that only the appropriate (high fibre) nutrients reach the large intestine. 

HP Colon has been carefully put together and contains all the necessary nutrients to improve hoof quality and promote convalescence, with special care taken to ensure all necessary vitamins and minerals are included.
