Indications
Dermiel wound ointment includes honey and essential oils. The antibacterial activity of honey is due to the low pH and the honey enzyme glucose-oxidase (GOX ). This enzyme produces small amounts of hydrogen peroxide when contact with the wound. This will clean infected wounds quickly. The low pH restores the acidity of the skin and promotes the wound healing. Use
Clean the wound, with water if necessary, and let it dry. Apply the ointment 2 to 3 times daily onto the wound. Minor wounds do not need to be covered. Cover large wounds with a gauze.
