Dermabond Prineo Skin Closure System

An innovative, dual-component skin closure system designed to provide optimal strength and healing.
It combines a liquid skin adhesive with a self-adhesive (latex-free) mesh for the closure of surgical incisions and simple lacerations. It offers a non-invasive alternative to sutures and staples.

DERMABOND PRINEO provides the proven strength, flexibility, and antimicrobial protection of DERMABOND ADVANCED, combined with the security of a self-adhesive mesh, ensuring effective wound closure and optimal healing.

Component 1: Applicator with Liquid Skin Adhesive

The liquid 2-octyl cyanoacrylate topical skin adhesive provides strong wound closure and in-vitro protection against microorganisms. When applied to the mesh tape, the adhesive cures in approximately 60 seconds.

Component 2: Polyester Mesh Tape

A flexible, self-adhesive polyester mesh tape that, when used in combination with the skin adhesive, supports excellent wound approximation and healing. The tape contains an initiator that accelerates the curing process of the adhesive.
