Meloxidyl 20 mg/ml for cattle and pigs contains meloxicam, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Meloxicam is in the oxicam family of drugs. It inhibits COX and the synthesis of prostaglandins, resulting in an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effect.
