VETIGEL® Hemostatic Gel - for rapid bleeding control in under 5 Seconds
VETIGEL Hemostatic Gel is a fast-working hemostatic gel that stops bleeding in less than 5 seconds without the need for manual pressure.
VETIGEL can be used on a variety of procedures, including but not limited to: dental extractions, oral mass removals, abdominal and thoracic mass removals, soft organ biopsies, enucleations, spays & neuters, amputations, venous & arterial bleeds, cholecystectomies, catheterization, lacerations, and ear & tail docking.
VETIGEL stops bleeding instantly through mechanical action, eliminating the need for applied pressure. When the gel contacts blood, it ionically crosslinks to form a robust mechanical barrier, ensuring durable and long-term hemostasis at the wound site. This process allows the patient to quickly generate a stable endogenous fibrin patch. Additionally, VETIGEL can be easily removed without disrupting the fibrin patch due to its flowable, non-porous nature.
