TAF Spray is a unique antibiotic wound spray with the molecule thiamphenicol, for the effective treatment of infections of claw and hoof, such as foot rot, digital or interdigital dermatitis and superficial wound infections.
Dechra Veterinary Products has developed a next generation antibiotic wound spray containing the molecule thiamphenicol. TAF Spray® is registered for cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, minks, and rabbits. TAF Spray has a unique golden yellow colour. The spray is very easy to use in the upright and inverted positions and has a non-drip nozzle that sprays with precision.
THIAMPHENICOL
Thiamphenicol is a methyl-sulfonyl analogue of chloramphenicol and has a similar broad spectrum of activity. It is bacteriostatic for both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and acts by blocking protein synthesis. While there are special precautions to be taken by the person administering the product to animals, this molecule does not trigger the same side effects as chloramphenicol.
Gebrauchsanweisung
Shake before use
Treat the spot during 3 seconds (equivalent to approximately 45mg thiamfenicol). Depending on the healing process, the treatment can be repeated for up to 3 consecutive days.
