Skin & Wound Crème 100g
80% pure active MGO350+ Leptospermum scoparium (mānuka) honey from New Zealand plus emollients and natural oils. The emollients and natural oils to help repel nuisance insects.
Methylglyoxal (MGO) is the therapeutic agent in mānuka honey, it possesses antimicrobial properties and modulates the inflammatory process in wounds. For medical use, the product should exceed therapeutic concentrations (MGO >350 mg/kg).
The Crème is designed to complement Manuka Vet® Skin & Wound Gel by being able to be used in the latter stages of healing minor wounds, or as the sole topical treatment until wound healing is complete
The product is medical grade and sterile, ultra-filtered.
Gebrauchsanweisung
Apply product at room temperature as soon as possible after wounding, preferably within 24 hours. Wound should be cleaned to remove loose hair and surface contamination prior to application. Apply a thin film of MānukaVet® Skin & Wound Crème to the wound 2-3 times daily for at least 21 days or until wound healing is complete. In cases of excessive granulation tissue (proud flesh) developing consult your veterinarian and continue application. Not recommended for use under a bandage.
