TROVEX 1 mg/ml suspension for injection for cattle, horses, pigs, cats and dogs
For the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions, musculoskeletal disorders and
respiratory diseases.
Indications d'utilisation
Horses, cattle and pigs
Intramuscular administration.
- Cattle, calves, horses and foals: 0.02 mg dexamethasone isonicotinate/kg body weight
(equivalent to 0.016 mg dexamethasone/kg) corresponding to 2 ml/100 kg body weight.
- Pigs: 0.02 mg dexamethasone isonicotinate/kg body weight (equivalent to 0.016 mg
dexamethasone/kg) corresponding to 2 ml/100 kg body weight.
- Piglets: 0.1 mg dexamethasone isonicotinate/kg body weight (equivalent to 0.08 mg
dexamethasone/kg) corresponding to 1 ml/10 kg body weight.
The maximum volume to be administered per injection site is 10 ml in cattle and horses and 3 ml in pigs.
The therapeutic effect of the veterinary medicine lasts for about 4 days. If longer treatment is required in horses, cats and dogs, a suitable corticosteroid preparation should be used.
Shake well before use.
A suitable graduated syringe should be used so that the required volume can be administered correctly. This is especially important with small volumes.
Do not puncture the vial more than 25 times.
