Meloxidyl 0,5 mg/ml for cats contains meloxicam, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Meloxicam is in the oxicam family of drugs. It inhibits COX and the synthesis of prostaglandins, resulting in an anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic effect.
Indication
Meloxidyl is indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain associated with acute and chronic orthopaedic conditions.
