Suspension for injection containing procaine benzylpenicillin and dihydro-streptomycin.
Composition
Suspension containing 200.000 I.U procaine benzylpenicillin and 200 mg of dihydro-streptomycin (as sulphate) per ml.
Indications
Treatment and prevention of infections caused by bacteria sensitive to penicillin or dihydrostreptomycin, such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, surgical infections, navel infections, and leptospirosis.
Administration
Depomycine is a ready-to-use aqueous suspension for injection. This product is for intramuscular or subcutaneous injection only.
Dosage
Cattle: 4 ml/ 100 kg body weight per day during 3 days
Calves, sheep, pigs, lambs and piglets: 5 ml/ 1000 kg body weight per day during 3 days
Dogs and cats: 1 ml/ 10 kg body weight per day during 3-5 days.
Repeat at 24-hr intervals depending on clinical judgment at different injection site for up to 3 consecutive days.
