Prednisolone 10 mg/ml
Prednisolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid indicated for the symptomatic treatment of inflammation and allergic reactions. Prednisolone 1% is registered as an injectable solution for dogs.
Indications d'utilisation
Administer 0.5 – 2.5 mg prednisolone per kg bw (= 0.05 – 0.25 ml prednisolone 1% per kg bw). The loading dose should be determined per individual animal and should eventually be reduced to an effective maintenance dose. The injection should be given in the morning in order to not disturb the circadian variation in endogenous cortisol.
