Natural Vitamin E (d-a-tocopherol) - 210 softgels
Vitamin E is an essential vitamin for horses, of which supplementation is desirable or necessary in certain cases. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, it neutralizes free radicals and in this way protects healthy cells and tissues. The source of Grovet's Vitamin E Softgel is soy and sunflower. Each softgel contains 400 mg of d-alpha tocopherol (equivalent to 600 IU of d-alpha tocopherol).
Why choose natural Vitamin E?
For most vitamins, there is little difference between the natural and synthetic forms of the vitamins. With vitamin E however, it is important to choose a natural form. Research has shown that natural vitamin E supplements provide a greater increase in alpha-tocopherol plasma levels in horses*.
