Paniolo Leg Splint Foal

The Paniolo Leg Splint is designed for foals. The splint provides essential support for bone fractures, tendon and ligament tears and ruptures, and wound management. The splint is made from an inner layer of air dry foam and resin, and an outer hard polyester shell. The air dry foam provides a protective layer around the limb and acts as a barrier between the polyester shell so as to not create further issues with skin abrasions. The foam provides protection around the limb and acts as an intermediate layer to prevent further injuries such as skin abrasions from the hard polyster.

• Easy to apply and remove
• The splint will set to moulded status in ten to twenty minutes
• Re-use of this product is possible with the same horse
• Provides essential support for broken bones, tears or ligaments
• The splint is breathable and washable

There are three sizes for foals:

• Foal large – 140cm x 12.5cm
• Foal small – 100cm x 12.5cm
• Dorsal Splint – 32cm x 14cm – (this is a dorsal splint that has a much thicker outer shell and will be very rigid. For the use on newborn foal congenital flexural deformities.)
