AMP Wound Dressing
AMP Wound Dressing is a sterile hydrogel dressing with peptides which break down bacteria without leaking out into the bloodstream, while at the same time promoting wound healing by creating a moist wound environment.
AMP Wound Dressing is intended for the management of dry‑to‑low exuding wound, including post operative wounds, open wounds and traumatic injuries. The recommended duration of use is 1-3 days, and the dressing may be kept longer should clinical conditions allow.
AMP Wound Dressing is available in a box containing 5 wound dressings of 4,5 x 15 cm.

Indicaciones de uso
- Clean the skin/wound according to clinical practice using water or saline.
- Fully dry the surrounding skin before applying the dressing.
- Open the packaging and remove the dressing from the pouch using aseptic technique.
- Cut to appropriate size if needed using aseptic technique and discard unused dressing.
- The wound-contacting side of the hydrogel is protected by a transparent plastic release liner. Remove the release liner from the wound contact side of the dressing.
- The wound dressing must be in direct contact with the whole wound surface and extend over the wound margins by a minimum of 1 cm to achieve maximum effect.
- Fix the hydrogel with a suitable secondary dressing of choice with at least 2-3 cm margins on each side. Ensure the dressing remains securely in place.
- Ensure that the animal cannot remove the dressing by implementing appropriate protective methods.
- It is recommended to change the dressing every 1-3 days; it may be kept longer should clinical conditions allow.

Precautions: External use only.
- Do not use on mucous membranes (eyes/nose/mouth)
- If the treated condition deteriorates, fails to improve, or if a side effect is observed, discontinue use of the product.
- Do not use on patients with a known hypersensitivity to the dressing.
- The contact layer should always be applied in direct contact with the wound area to limit the proliferation of bacteria.
- The dressing is for single use only and should not be reused. Reusing may lead to an increased risk of infection or cross-contamination.
- Do not re-sterilize.
- Do not use if the peel pouch is damaged.
Contraindications: Do not use on moderate to heavily exuding wounds.
