Zentonil Advanced is a dietary supplement that supports liver function in dogs and cats with chronic liver disease.
How does Zentonil Advanced work?
Liver-function impairment decreases S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) production. Since SAMe is essential to the production of glutathione (GSH), a cell-protectant antioxidant, this contributes to the depletion of GSH stores.
S-adenosylmethionine increases hepatic levels of glutathione - an important antioxidant that protects hepatic cells. It may also promote hepatocellular regeneration. Zentonil Advanced also contains silybin (milk thistle) complexed with phosphatidylcholine to increase the oral uptake and bioavailability of silybin for further support of liver function.
Instructions for use
Give 1 tablet per 20 kg body weight per day. Should not be given with food. Should not be given for longer than 6 months at a time.milk derivatives, plant derivatives, oils and fats, minerals, yeasts, various sugars.
