Composition
1 ampoule with 1 ml suspension for injection contains 10 mg of triamcinolone acetonide
Indications
- Isolated plaques (<4 cm2 ) in chronic stationary psoriasis vulgaris,
- Lichen planus,
- Lichen simplex chronicus (neurodermatitis circumscripta)
- Alopecia areata,
- Lupus erythematosus chronicus,
- Keloids.
Dosage and administration
Sublesional injection. The location, the extension and clinical situation of the lesions determine the dosage and the repetition of the injection. However an interval between injections of at least 2 weeks should be respected. As a guideline, 1 mg triamcinolone acetonide per cm2 of skin lesion. A daily dose of 10 mg Triamcinolone acetonide in adults and 20 mg triamcinolone acetonide per month should not be exceeded.
