For the treatment of respiratory disorders in horses associated with bronchospasm and increased secretion of hyperviscous secrete.
Clenbuterol hydrochloride is a ß2-sympathomimetic used for its bronchodilator effect in obstructive bronchitis. Dembrexin hydrochloride monohydrate increases tracheobronchial secretion and at the same time reduces the viscosity of the secretion.
Instructions for use
For administration with feed
Horses:
0.8 µg clenbuterol hydrochloride and 0.3 mg dembrexin hydrochloride monohydrate per kg body weight. (equivalent to 1 g Equi plus per 20 kg bw), 2 x daily at 12-hour intervals.
One measuring spoon contains 10 g Equi plus. The granulate is best administered with concentrated feed.
Duration of treatment:
In acute and subacute diseases 10 to 14 days; in chronic cases even longer. In any case treatment should be continued until complete resolution of clinical symptoms.
1 g granules contains:
Clenbuterol hydrochloride 0.016 mg (corresponding to 0,01414 mg clenbuterol)
Dembrexin hydrochloride monohydrate 6.00mg (corresponding to 5.246 mg dembrexin).
