Topical gel containing prednisolone, lidocaine, and DMSO.
Indicated for the alleviation of pain and inflammation caused by localized musculoskeletal disorders.
Characteristics
DMSO has great penetrating properties and is an anti-inflammatory. It is also used as a vehicle to take other products through the skin so they can reach the inflamed area. Prednisolone is a corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties and lidocaine is an analgesic.
Indications
Musculoskeletal inflammation with a traumatic or infectious aetiology. Arthritis, peri-arthritis, arthrosis, osteitis, synovitis, tendinitis, sprains and strains.
Instructions for use
Apply the product on a localized area of the underlying lesion using a brush (or similar).
If necessary, a non-compressive dressing can be applied to cover the treated area.
Apply 10 to 30 mL twice a day, or 6 to 18 doses of the dosing pump, depending on the nature of the lesion.
